Fire Mitigation Home Assessments
Wildfire is a significant threat in the fire district.  To protect yourself, your family and your property, homeowners need to be aware of the importance of mitigating their wildfire hazards and be aware of the impact of living in the Urban-Interface.   TLMFPD follows guidelines from the FireWise Program.  The FireWise Program shows homeowners/homeowner associations how to mitigate property and reduce the risk of a catastrophic wildfire.

FireWise - Are you FireWise?  FireWise property mitigation assessments are conducted free of charge, this consists of an assessment of the home and property with relation to wildland fire threats.  Assessments can only be conducted at the request of the home/property owner. If you would like to arrange a home/property fire assessment please call (719) 484-0911.
